Help! Looking for proportions for two cocktails
I tasted a great cocktail a few months ago and the barman wouldn't disclose his recipe so I was wondering if you had ideas for the proportions. I'm just looking for ideas to explore, I still don't have all the ingredients so this is all hypothetical. It was composed of green chartreuse, amaro, benedictine and armagnac/cognac. The chartreuse was definitely prominent with the cognac acting as a subtle foundation. It was not bitter at all and mostly sweet, also surprisingly round on the palate. Decorated with a slice of dried apple. My mom also wanted to have a cocktail mystery elucidated: Hendricks gin, Cucumber, Sake and Aloe vera juice. Comments: It tasted like summer. http://www.reddit.com/r/cocktails/comments/3g38iz/help_looking_for_proportions_for_two_cocktails/
