Maurin Rouge question
Bought a bottle from BevMo with no idea what kind of vermouth it is. What do you guys think about it? I tried to use it as a Dolin substitution in manhattans but it doesn't feel right. It is kind of too "spicy". I can feel too much pepper, almost celery type flavor. Not fruity at all. That is more suitable for things like Bloody Mary, but this would be too strange to put vermouth in BM. Besides I am not a huge fan of BM. Any advices would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! http://www.reddit.com/r/cocktails/comments/3fnm5q/maurin_rouge_question/
