Planning a Tiki engagement party and afraid of biting off more than I can chew (or shake or whatever).
I want to serve classic tiki cocktails at my engagement party in two weeks. My partner and I love tiki bars like Frankie's in LV but we don't generally mix drinks at home and are pretty ignorant about ingredients and the importance of different steps when crafting drinks. I'm thinking we'll be pretty busy the day of the party and I'm a bit apprehensive about mixing all the drinks individually. Does anyone have time saving suggestions for mixes that can be premade or drinks that can be served in a punch bowl? I'm not looking for perfection...I'm more looking for crowd pleasers that are on point with the theme. Thanks a million for any tips! We're a bit at a loss from just reading online all day. http://www.reddit.com/r/cocktails/comments/3gbafn/planning_a_tiki_engagement_party_and_afraid_of/
