Old Fashioned Variations
Hey guys, I'm new to this sub, and I searched around for a bit and didn't find anything quite like this. If this has been asked before please let me know.Anyways, I embarrassed myself really badly last night. I'm not much of a beer drinker, so lately I've been trying to get more adventurous with cocktails besides trying to get away from your basis mixed drinks. I've got a couple buddies that like old fashioneds, so I decided to give it a go. Little did I know that there were like a million variations of an old fashioned, and I looked like an idiot.Anyways, I'm just wondering if someone could give me a crash course on old fashioneds and how to order them, or even just telling me how you like yours. It just seems like a cool drink and I'd like to know more. I really like whiskey so if it's made with whiskey, even better. Thanks in advance!
