I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee Da Ba Die)

http://ifttt.com/images/no_image_card.png

Taking a different approach to cocktails that I usually do for a beachside restaurant consultation where I need to make a Fishbowl drink. Ideally it will be clear or have a slight blue tint. I usually don't make cocktails based on color, but it's now a necessity...

Is there any noticeable difference in brands of Blue Curacao? Anyone have experience with Senor Curacao of Curacao vs. Marie Brizzard vs. absolute cheapest sugary blue liqueur?

Are there other ways to make a drink blue? Is food coloring the way to go? Anyone have experience with Butterfly Pea Flower Extract (particularly the B'Lure brand)?

Does anyone have experience making Fishbowl cocktails? That didn't suck?

My current thinking is house-infused cucumber vodka, nigori sake, lime juice, lychee juice, and (shudder) blue curacao. Thoughts?
