I've already minted some bourbon by placing it fresh mint in mason jar over a couple of days. I like to bring mixed drinks to my bocce league games. I wanted to mix minted bourbon with just ice and simple syrup. However when I make the simple syrup tonight is there another herb i could use? Maybe some lime zest in the simply syrup. Any ideas.
