Toronto Cocktail: How do you like it?
Hey everyone, I'm getting into Fernet cocktails recently, and the Toronto is one of the first ones I had (and a classic). How do you like to make yours?I was playing around with it last night and thought that bitters would be a great addition. I think using Peychaud's has a lot of promise, but I ruined it because I use the wrong ratio of Rye-to-Fernet.I tried 2-1 to be simple, but nope nope nope that was far too Fernet-y and barely any whiskey came through. 2 dashes of Peychaud were nice, though.Tonight I'll try 2:.75, and again with 2 dashes of Peychaud's.How do you like yours? Preference of whiskey? ratios? bitters? syrup or no?
