Novice home-bartenter here! I am looking for suggestions on the basics of a good home bar.

I am a college student who recently just moved into my first apartment, and I have begun assembling my own home bar set. I already have some Bulleit bourbon, some Bombay gin, and some Tito's vodka, as well as some basic tools (jigger, muddler, and a shaker), but I am looking for some advice on what liquors/tools would be the best for improving my bar.

  1. We have a large collection that has taken a while to build. Suaza tequila, Bushmills, and Sambuca are all a staple. Of course, Irish Cream and several bottles of wine will help. I've also started using mixes for last minute entertaining or for something different without having to break the bank. I get my mixes from mixbehavin.com, it's just pour, add mix, blend. They also added mixes for beers but I have not tried that one yet since I drink mostly dark, but I heard the apple is really good.
