Help me construct my signature cocktail with my special mystery ingredient (sujeonggwa)!

Hello everyone,I'm looking to create a signature cocktail for a party tomorrow, and I know I want to use some amount of a delicious korean non-alcoholic drink called sujeonggwa. It is a simple drink made by boiling lots of cinnamon sticks, ginger, and dates, and sugar together. Sweet, but with a nice peppery bite from the cinnamon and ginger.What kinds of liquors do you think would go well in a cocktail with this flavor profile? Maybe a dark rum to add some vanilla? Chocolate mole bitters? I"m worried about it being too sweet, so maybe I go the other direction and add a lot of wormwood bitters and rye?What do you guys think?
