Just infused a bunch of different spirits. Any advice on what to do with them?
The other day I finally carved out some time to try my hand at infusing spirits with fruit and herbs. The last of them will be ready today and I'm getting around 8-10 oz of each spirit. I plan on making a few classics to kind of gauge how they turned out, but I'll also have a little left over to try something new. If anybody has an advice or direction for any of these, that would be helpful.Peach Infused Whiskey: Planning to start with Whiskey Sour and then a Julep. After that, I'm leaning towards something with ginger, so maybe a take on an Old Fashioned with ginger syrup.Pineapple Basil Habanero Infused Tequila: Straight up margarita will be the first think I'm making. After that, I was thinking of doing a Paloma, with lime and grapefruit soda. Outside of those, not too sure what I'll be doing with (besides just sipping on ice with a lime twist).Ginger & Grapefruit Infused Gin: G&T with Cranberry syrup for sure. Outside of that, I'm not so sure. Made for a friend who loves G&T, since Gin is not really my thing. Figure something with a lemon or mint?Strawberry Basil Infused Vodka: The lady of my life requested this one for mixing it with lemonade or maybe tonic (with a lime for the later). I may float some prosecco on top of the lemonade, but outside of that, I'm tapped for ideas.Green Tea Infused Vodka: Again, another infusion for my girl. She had a martini at some event not too long ago that she liked, so I was thinking ginger syrup and vermouth. Outside of that, maybe a honey syrup and a short dash of soda/tonic. Really unsure what to do after that, since this is not normally something I would order.
