I very much enjoy sidecars and sazeracs of the rye/cognac variety, so I've been searching for a brandy/cognac that's good enough to mix, but not so good that it'll be spoiled if not drank neat.I recently picked up a bottle of Paul Masson VSOP and while it was good (certainly considering its price) it... left much to be desired. Seemed like it was lacking a great deal in complexity. Maybe I'll find something else in it next time I go back to that bottle.What brandy/cognac do you like to use in your cocktails?
