How big do you make your standard home drinks?

Bars usually have strict pouring guidelines, but home cocktail makers get the luxury of making their martinis in a pint glass if they so desire (not that I'd recommend it...).What's your average oz of undiluted spirits per drink at home? I usually range in the 3-4 oz size for liquor+liqueurs. Obviously once diluted with ice, this becomes a larger drink, and provides a nice fill level in my (rather large) coupes., but I'm curious as to what other people do. Do you indulge in plentiful potables, or limit your libations?Does size really matter?
